Today I lost someone very close to me.
His name was Kinicky.
He didn't have much, but he gave us all he could.
He wasn't rich, but he made sure to let us know he loved us.
He didn't like being held down, but he was around when we needed him.
He wasn't big, but he protected us the best he knew how.
He was just cat, but he was one of my best friends.
He always fought valiantly, but this time there were too many against one.
There are two men with the city's Public Works Department that selflessly fought off the dogs in an attempt to save my friend.
To those brave, unknown men I'd like to say, "Thank you for helping and making sure my friend's last moments were spent safe and without fear."
He will greatly missed and lovingly remembered by many.
Thank you for your time.

When I was a teen, I lost my best friend. He was my dog named "Muppy". He came home one day after roaming (we lived in the country) someone had shot him in the stomach with a shotgun. I know this dog, someone probably yelled he was in their yard, and he just laid down and they shot him. He came up to me.. my parents weren't home.. and laid on my lap the entire day. Finally he died in my arms. Shortly after my mom was at a party down the road. This woman there was bragging about all the dogs her husband shot and killed in the neighborhood. They could've called, they knew us. Pissed me off!!! I did pay them back. Won't say what I did.. could go to jail.. lol. I will say they were paid back greatly (in a non-violent) way.. paybacks all the same. Anyway the damage we did stands to this day.. and everytime I drive past I consider it a "shrine" to my "Muppy". Sorry about your loss!! Take care, Gary [HEART]

people are really sick. how could you do that to another living creature who is no doubt part of someone's family? just plain WRONG.
